Robert Westbrook began his career in 1978 with WC & AN Miller, a real estate development company based in the Spring Valley section of NW Washington. WC & AN Miller, founded in 1912, was one of the largest holders of commercial and residential land within the District of Columbia second only to the Federal government. Employment with the Miller company proved to be an ardent learning experience due to the use of wage earning employees (as opposed to sub-contractors) in most of the trades including excavation, masonry, frame carpentry, plumbing, trim carpentry and all the finish trades. Rob climbed the ranks of field supervision and project management in both the residential and commercial sector over a period of 10 years before becoming Director of Homes and ultimately Executive Vice President of Homes. Rob ventured out on his own in 2008 to begin Westbrook Construction Services, LLC and later Westbrook Homes, LLC. Rob has overseen the design and construction of more than 250 luxury single family homes as well as multifamily buildings, modular homes as affordable housing units and noteworthy commercial buildings in Washington DC. Rob is married to Susan Fadoul Westbrook, the Managing Broker for Long and Foster in McLean and Great Falls Virginia. Between them, the Westbrook’s have five adult children and three grandchildren. In his spare time, Rob can be found on a golf course or boating at Deep Creek Lake, MD.
As the managing broker of Long & Foster McLean Sales and Great Falls Sales, Susan is instrumental in helping the buying and selling public with their real estate needs. She is licensed in VA, MD & Washington, DC and is knowledgeable in the myriad of aspects surrounding transactions in residential real estate. She assists Westbrook Homes and their clients in lot acquisitions and design/build projects. She joined Long and Foster Realtors following a merger with W.C. and A.N. Miller in December 2007. In the past, Susan was sales manager and market strategist for a highly successful Northern Virginia builder acting as principal broker. Additionally, she was the managing member of an investor directed Northern Virginia real estate development concern from 1996 to 2007. Susan is married to Rob Westbrook and together they have five adult children and three grandchildren.
